FlexNet Operations 2018
Before a license can be generated for a product, the product must be associated with one or more license models. Only license models linked to a product can be used in an entitlement for the product.
To link a license model with a product

| 2. | After the product is selected, click the Link License Models button. This button opens the Link License Models page in a popup window. License models can be added or removed from draft or deployed products. |
| a. | In the Link License Models popup window, select one or more license models from the Available License Models list. Note that the list of license models may be large enough to appear on multiple pages in the popup window. |
| b. | Click the right arrow to move selected license models to the Selected License Models list. |
| c. | When the Selected License Models list is complete, click Add. This button associates the selected license models with the specified product and closes the popup window. |
| 3. | If you selected a trusted license model, specify Transaction Keys; otherwise, skip to the next step. Use the Default and Virtual controls to identify one default transaction key or one virtualization-aware transaction key, or both a default transaction key and a virtualization-aware transaction key. |
| 4. | Click the Save button to save the association of license models with the product. |
| 5. | Click the Next button to map a product to a part number. |
Note • On the Link License Models to Product page, click the Reset button to reset the linked license models. To remove the link between selected license models and this product, check those license models and click the Remove License Models button.
