FlexNet Operations 2018
You can change the file ID of an existing file from that file’s View File page.
A file might need to be reidentified if it was entered in error or if your organization wanted to change its file ID naming conventions.
To reidentify a file
| 1. | On the View File page, click Edit > Reidentify. This link opens the Reidentify File page. |
| 2. | In the File ID field, type a new file ID value. |
| 3. | Click Reidentify. |
The Producer Portal changes the file ID of the current file and returns to the file’s View File page. Other file details are preserved, including relationships with the original file’s aliases as well as its associated download packages.
